I DID IT! I can't believe I finally did it. I kissed Cam. It felt...well it felt like a lot of different things, but mostly nice. Wonderful. Exhilarating. I think that we're together now. Are we? I mean, that made it pretty official. I wonder if Sadie knows...

Aurors at Hogwarts seems like a bit much, but if it makes people feel better then I guess its a good idea. Its a little unnerving going to class and seeing them patrolling the hallways. I always feel like I'm doing something wrong and they're going to get me for it. I know I'm not, its just a little intimidating. I think maybe I'm going to go to Nina's study group later...Potions has been giving me a rough time lately. Want to go Cam?

Muggleborn registering wit What is Travers doing? This is madness! Why should people who aren't of pure blood have to register with the Ministry? They've never had to do that before. Its just...odd. My da said tha I hope he knows what he's doing.
On a lighter note the ball was wonderful. I've never had so much fun! Thank you for going with me Cam. Everyone looked so lovely! And the Hinky Punks were better than I'd ever imagined. Wicked.

I can't seem to do anything right today so I stashed my wand away in my trunk for now. No harm in doing things the muggle way right? Whoever messed with things certainly managed to muck them up! And poor Bertram Aubrey! His dear wife and children...I hope they're alright. The Ministry should really be keeping an eye out. Just because He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is dead doesn't mean that everything is sunshine and rainbows. People are still out there...and so many are suffering from financial difficulties though not my fam. People are capable of doing awful things when faced with a crisis.
Anyway, enough of that. Study group tomorrow night at eight right? NEWTs might well be the death of me, but on a lighter note the Fall Ball is friday! Is anyone going? Its semi-formal so this should work right? It'll probably be really warm with the bands playing. I really like the Hinky Punks too, how did Podmore manage that?
